Sheffield Sabres first home game on Saturday against Deeside Dragons ended 5️⃣ – 5️⃣

First period was a slow star for both teams on the score board, not through lack of effort from either team, the goalies where just on point with 2 shots on for Jayden and 7 for Deeside. Ending 0-0

In the second period Deeside open the score line soon followed by a goal from Sheffield’s Maddy assisted by Owen followed by Deeside scoring a second goal ending second period 2-1.

Four minutes in to the 3rd period Sheffield score, with a goal from Sheffields U12’s Bradley with assists from Ethan and Casper.

Within a minute another goal from Deeside taking them again into the lead. Not for long as Sheffield took the lead with 2 goals scored with in a minute 3rd goal from Eoin, and 4th goal scored by Bradley assisted by Jack.

Deeside not giving up then go and score 2 goals taking them back into the lead.

Sheffield put everything they had into the last 5 minutes of the game. With a final equalising goal scored with a minute left on the clock from Libby assisted by Casper ending the nail biting, edge of seat game a draw.

Spirit of the Game was given to #75 Finlay

Hardest working was give to Jayden from Libby for doing some amazing saves and never gave up trying.
