In an exciting clash between the Sheffield Stormers and the Solihull Barons, the two teams faced off for the first time this season. The game started off with Solihull taking an early lead, scoring just four minutes into the first period. Their momentum continued as they capitalised on a penalty from Sheffield, netting a second goal shortly after, ending the first period with a 2-0 lead.

However, Sheffield bounced back early in the second period with a goal that sparked their comeback. As the game progressed, both teams faced a series of penalties, Solihull managed to find the net again, bringing the score to 3-1. Sheffield quickly responded with a goal just a minute later, narrowing the gap. As the second period came to a close, Solihull added another goal, ending the period 4-2.

In the final period Solihull were down a player due to a penalty and Sheffield seized the opportunity and scored a short-handed goal, ending the game at 4-3 to Solihull.

Played like a boss award went to Jacob Robinson.
