Key and Eagle

Here is a full recap of the player of the month awards for December!

U10 Samurai – Lowe, Hill & Bell

Lowe – He has really stepped his game up this season, both in attitude and performances. In previous years he probably let situations during games affect him and put him off, but this season he has learnt to channel that into motivating him to play harder. This has been evident with his performances in games, not only getting on the scoresheet regularly but also encouraging his teammates. Call ups to 12B and 12A games this season have been well deserved.

Hill – She has quietly been going about her business this season and has begun to make great strides in her development. In games and training she has become a model of dependability, following whatever instruction she is given.   A popular member of the team, her confidence is now beginning to show in her gameday performances, often doing the unfashionable work to help her teammates out. This kind of thing can be easily overlooked but it has certainly caught the coaching teams attention

Bell – Another player who has quietly been going about her business, Winter has made significant improvements in her game since joining the club at the start of the season. Always with a smile on her face, Winter is a pleasure to coach; listening carefully to instructions and giving maximum effort to improve her skills. This was evident after the latest round of testing, where she smashed her pre season results.

U12 Swampfrogs – Waddington

Waddington – He has come on leaps and bounds this season, had a tireless work ethic and has improved all areas of his game since joining the team this season. In December he also began to add some important goals and assists to the team during key games.

U14 Lasers – Hill

Hill – For his consistent outstanding performance and great attitude towards training and games.

U14 Sabres – Foster

Foster – She constantly works hard, tries her best, always listens and is attentive. She has been really effective in games.

U16 Stormers – Burrows

Burrows – He has had a great month, improving week on week on his positional awareness in both offence and defence, very coachable and hunger to improve.   Working hard for his team creating lots of goal scoring opportunities also bagging some Gs for himself.  Well done, keep it up.
