Sheffield Greyhounds hosted Sutton sting on Saturday looking to get back to winning ways.

Sheffield took an early first period lead through Miks Bebris after 1:31. Sutton responded with 2 goals in just over a minute to turn the game around and lead 2-1. In the final 2 minutes of the period Sutton added a 3rd to take a 3-1 lead into the first period break.

The second period was barely 30 seconds old when Alfie Barlow Wilkins broke down the right wing to fire through the legs of the Sutton net minder to narrow the gap to 3-2. Sutton took advantage of a power play to regain the 2 goal lead at 4-2, and added 2 more goals before the period ended to lead 6-2.

Into the 3rd period and Sheffield added a 3rd goal with George Gregg putting away a rebound for 6-3. Sutton added to their tally with 2 more goals in 90 seconds to extend their advantage to 8-3. Sheffield continued to plug away and finished the game with 2 goals in the final few minutes, with Alfie Barlow Wilkins scoring his second of the game. Miks bebris got his second of the game to end the game. Sutton taking the 2 points with an 8-5 win.
