Lancers v Billingham Stars Junior Ice Hockey u18’s away game.

A very good first nine minutes lots of shots on goal but unfortunately nothing got past the goalie for Billingham. A short handed goal scored by Leland opened up the game. Billingham stepped up the defence until the Lancers went on the power play when Lewis S scored with a minute remaining in the first period.

Billingham put one past the Lancers goalie in the first minute of the second. Milly quickly answered back with a goal. Callum made some very good saves between the pipes, keeping it 1-3 whilst on a penalty kill. Harry I scored a breakaway goal. Lewis S put another past the goalie making it 1-5. Leland bagged another goal. Callum and Elliott swapped between the pipes with 9.30 left in the second. Matiss put the seventh in the net. Lewis S bagged his hat trick goal with less than 2 minutes remaining, then seconds later found the net again!

Noah B opened up the third with a rocket of a goal! A corker of a goal from Lewis S, following up with another shortly after. Jasper bagged the final goal of the game. A 1️⃣ – 1️⃣3️⃣ win for the Lancers. A fantastic game played by all and some amazing saves made by the goalies Callum and Elliott.
