Sheffield Greyhounds picked up their first win of the season with an entertaining 6️⃣-4️⃣ win in Billingham. 👏🏻👏🏻

Bentley opened the scoring for Sheffield in the 9th minute for the only goal of the first period.

The second period saw 7 goals scored. First up, Billingham levelled in the first minute of the second period with a 5 on 3 PP goal. A minute later Bebris returned from the pen box to score to make it 2-1. Less than a minute later he got his second of the game to give Sheffield a 3-1 lead.

Back came Billingham just under 2 minutes later with a goal to cut Sheffields lead to 3-2. With 2 players in the pen Box Phillips scored a 5 on 3 short handed goal to make it 4-2, shortly followed by Bebris completing his hat trick with a 5 on 4 SH goal for a 5-2 lead.

Billingham rounded off the scoring for period 2 in the final minute to make it 5-3.

Into the final period Billingham pulled another back to make it 5-4. Sheffield had to kill a 5 minute pen which they did really well. On the same pen kill they netted their 3rd SH goal of the game, and a 4th of the game for Bebris to round off the scoring.

Spirit of the game went to Eva who played a really good game moving back to play on defence. 🏅🏅
